Captain Dan Colosie has been our Squadron Commanding Officer since October 2018. Prior to his arrival at our Squadron in 2016, he held a variety of positions over his several years at 767 Dearman Squadron in Surrey, BC. Captain Colosie earned both his Glider and Power Pilot licenses through the Air Cadets program, as well as gaining lots of leadership and other valuable experiences along the way.
Civilian Instructor Maria Hykawy brings with her experience from her previous work at an Army Cadet Corps in Ontario that will serve the Squadron well in her role as the Administration Officer.
Civilian Instructor Gavin Kennedy is a 737 Squadron alumni who has returned to join the adult staff in delivering the cadet program in Thompson. His cadet experience and familiarity with Squadron operations makes him an excellent fit for the role of Supply Officer.
Civilian Volunteer Kaitlynne Meuse is a 737 Squadron alumni who has returned to join the adult staff in delivering the cadet program in Thompson. Her cadet experience and familiarity with Squadron operations, as well as her instructional experience within the squadron make her an ideal training supervisor.
Warrant Officer Second Class Heske is our current Squadron Commander. The Cadet Squadron Commander is responsible for ensuring all cadets comply with all Squadron Orders, supervising cadets during Squadron functions, liaising with the Officer staff on current issues and ideas for the Squadron, managing and enforcing the Chain of Command, and several other duties.

Flight Sergeant Meuse is our current Cadet Squadron Adjutant. The Cadet Squadron Adjutant is responsible to the Administration Officer and controls the squadron attendance process and other administrative functions such as overseeing the Cadet Canteen.
Aurora Flight is commanded by Sergeant Corner. The Flight Commander is responsible for ensuring their group of cadets, called a "flight", is ready for all activities and duties. This includes making sure uniforms and drill are up to standards, and communicating announcements to their team.
